Micon International Limited has been engaged by Buffalo Potash Corporation to complete a maiden NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for their flagship Disley Potash Project, located approximately 50 kilometres northwest of Regina, Saskatchewan.
The work represents an important milestone in advancing the Disley Project toward potential development and will establish the project’s first independent assessment of mineral resources and preliminary project economics. The MRE and PEA will provide the technical and economic foundation to support Buffalo Potash’s innovative horizontal line drive (HLD) mining strategy.
This study will be led by Richard Thompson, drawing on Micon’s experience in potash resource estimation and economic evaluation.
Micon looks forward to working closely with Buffalo Potash and supporting the continued advancement of the Disley Project.
